The Marketing Manager at Childress Vineyards is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that elevate our brand, support revenue growth, and drive engagement across both digital and traditional channels. A large portion of this role focuses on digital campaign leadership, CRM strategies, and brand communication. The Marketing Manager will also oversee internal content alignment, manage marketing workflows, and collaborate across departments to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that promote wine sales, hospitality experiences, and brand awareness.
- Lead seasonal campaigns, wine releases, and event marketing efforts with a focus on consistency and ROI.
Digital Marketing Leadership
- Oversee digital campaign planning and execution, including SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and paid social media advertising.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Social Media Specialist to align social media content with broader digital marketing initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Meta Business Suite, applying insights to optimize future efforts.
- Drive CRM and customer acquisition strategies, including lead nurturing, list growth, and lifecycle communication.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Manage and execute targeted email campaigns through Mailchimp, including promotions, newsletters, and event announcements.
- Build and maintain automated email workflows such as welcome series, post-purchase follow-ups, event reminders, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Segment audiences to personalize content and improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.
- Use A/B testing and analytics to optimize campaign effectiveness and improve customer retention.
- Leverage CRM data to enhance audience targeting and maximize customer lifetime value.
Content Oversight & Brand Integrity
- Ensure all digital and print content reflects Childress Vineyards’ luxury image and tone.
- Review and approve marketing content including email copy, paid ads, signage, and campaign collateral.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Support the Wine Club, Tasting Room, Bistro, Private Events, and Distribution teams with tailored marketing support and materials.
- Coordinate messaging around promotions, launches, and winery-wide events to ensure alignment and clarity.
Public Relations & Traditional Media
- Assist with press outreach, rack cards, printed collateral, and signage production.
- Support the Director of Communications and Sales on public relations and outreach strategies as needed.
Team & Workflow Management
- Provide leadership and guidance for marketing team workflows, timelines, and task delegation.
- Mentor junior team members or interns and support onboarding for new marketing hires.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Provide flexible support for projects and initiatives that align with company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital strategy, analytics, CRM, and campaign execution
- Previous management or team leadership experience required
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp (including automations and list segmentation)
- Experience with CRM platforms and digital customer acquisition strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, luxury brand voice
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
- Industry experience in wine, hospitality, luxury goods, or food & beverage is a strong plus
